Latin American Coalition of cannabis activists Meeting

in the context of the IV Regional Conference on Drug Policy

The reality of cannabis culture in the world has made some strides in recent years, the recognition of medical and industrial uses, the activism and mobilization marches increasingly more massive, the legalization for recreational use in some U.S. state and the intention to legalize it in some other countries such as Uruguay.

The Latin American movement is young and should be nurtured and articulated with many experiences to live up to this international debate, and contribute concretely to   reforming the current drug policy.

 

Objectives

Gather cannabis activists from Colombia and other countries with the aim of sharing experiences, deepen the debate and work jointly in Latin America.

 

Goals

  • Share national and international experiences on cannabis activism around the world
  • Strengthen and coordinate the work of the Latin American cannabis activists
  • Strengthen and support the creation of a strong and diverse Colombian cannabis movement
  • Coordinate joint actions
