She was born in El Salvador; and graduated as a social worker in 1986.
Promoter and Coordinator of Maras` Pastoral of the Vicariate “Divino Salvador”, of the Network Initiative “Red de Redes” and also of the Youth Network Initiative “Red de Redes” (1997 to 2010).
Founder and Director of the Center of Training for Care Process on Social Suffering Situations (CFC PASSOS) and Co-founder of the Central American Network of Organizations Involved in Social Suffering Situations RECOISS-since 2004. She also serves on the Central American Coalition for the Prevention of Violence-CCPVJ-since 2006.
She has received the Human Rights Award 2012 from Washington Office on Latin America -WOLA-.
