Politologist, internationalist and professor un Politic and Social Sciences College of The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), he is specialist on drug policy. He is author of many articles and essays about drug policy. He is co-author of the political platform on illicit drugs of Social Democracy party and Possible Mexico party.

He is drug policy consultant for the “Conde Law Initiatives” on cannabis and member of the Mexican Association for Cannabis Studies and of the Mexican Association of Risk and Damage Reduction. Presently is president of CuPIhD.
