Daniel Mejía Londoño. Researcher of the Faculty of Economy in Los Andes University.
He is an economist and Professor at the Department of Economics at the University of Los Andes. He holds a Masters and a PHD in Economics from Brown University. In his professional experience he has worked as a researcher at the Bank of the Republic and Temporary Consultant for the World Bank as part of the Development and Security Project.
He has taught as Chair professor at Brown University and at the Javeriana University. He has published numerous academic papers and attended various international conferences.
He has also received several honors and scholarships such as the Research Award Germain Botero de los Rios 2008, Fedesarrollo Research Grants Open Society Institute for the study of anti-drug policies in Colombia, 2008 and 2009 and The Dissertation Fellowship, Brown University Graduate School, 2005-2006.
