Politician. He was councilman of San Jose del Guaviare in the years 1992-1994 and then was Deputy Departmental Guaviere Assembly for over 12 years. Former Secretary of Culture and Tourism of the Government of Guaviere between the years 1998-1999, and Director of Community Radio in 2000. From 2002 to 2006 he was representative to the House of Congress by the Cundinamarca Department, Municipality of Bogotá.
